Popular Chain Closes 500 Stores, 6 in Colorado

Joann Fabrics is planning mass closures in 2025, including six Colorado locations. During an interview with USA Today Joann Fabrics personnel shared that six Colorado stores will close in the months ahead, along with another 490 stores nationwide.

Joann Fabrics then followed this announcement with an update saying they would now be closing ALL locations. Specific dates have not yet been made public. The following Colorado communities can expect to see their Joann store close up soon.

Joann Fabrics and Crafts moved into the former Colorado West Cinema 4 inside Mesa Mall in 2007. They re-opened a location in the mall in 2017.

The Fort Collins location on College Avenue has been open for more than 20 years. Here are the following Joann stores in Colorado that will remain open until the end of May 2025.
