These days the less you need to carry around with you the better. Taking the time to stop carrying unnecessary items in your wallet helps reduce the chances you'll be the victim of identity theft because of something lost or stolen from your wallet. Using the digital wallet available on smart devices can save you from having to physically carry a credit card around with you that could be lost or stolen.

Photocopies of your cards (front and back) or taking photos of your cards with your phone can help you easily know who to contact if they go missing.
