Grand Junction High School has seen many changes over the past year. The campus redesign features a brand-new school building, gym, track, practice field, updated parking lots, and even a new Tiger statue at the main entrance.

If you have yet to see all the upgrades for yourself, there's a chance to see the new Grand Junction High School gymnasium later this month when the Harlem Wizards come to town for an event hosted by the Caprock Academy Booster Club and CAST.

New Gym at GJ High School Hosts Harlem Wizards

The Harlem Wizards return to Grand Junction on April 28th at 7 pm. The Wizards will bring their athleticism, hilarious personalities, and high-energy tricks to town for one night only. The event is a great chance to check out the new gym at Grand Junction High School, and the perfect setting for students and families to enjoy the show and to support the Caprock Booster Club and CAST.

How To Purchase Tickets

Tickets went on sale for the event on March 1st. There are still plenty of great seats available.  They are available online here. Students can purchase tickets for $15 in advance, $20 at the door. Adults can purchase tickets in advance for $20, $25 at the door.

A limited number of courtside seats are available for $60. A limited supply of reserved seating is available for $35.

Win Tickets With Our Station App

Open this article on our station app for a chance to access the entry form that could score you a pair of general admission tickets to the event on April 28th. These will be physical tickets that winners will need to pick up at the radio station before the event.

Remember, this is a Caprock Academy Booster Club event held at Grand Junction High School. Questions about the tickets or the event should go to Caprock and not GJHS.

Entry is open on the app until Sunday, April 6th at 5 pm. Winners will be contacted following the drawing on April 7th.

Robert Grant Photos - Classic Images of Western Colorado Football

After years of collecting and digitizing Western Colorado photographer Robert Grant's prints, it was thought they had all been turned over to Grand Junction's Museum of the West. Well, after a little housekeeping over the Labor Day weekend, three more boxes of prints were found.
