Colorado Avalanche Secure Playoff Spot In Overtime

Colorado sports are so exciting.

If it's not the Denver Broncos, then it's the Denver Nuggets, if it's not the Denver Nuggets then it's the Colorado Rockies, and if all else fails then we can root for the Colorado Avalanche.

The Colorado Avalanche secured their playoff spot last night after an overtime win against the Winnipeg Jets.

The best thing about the sports here in Colorado would be the final countdown and it coming down to the wire. That's when Colorado fans become animals and the cherry on top for their favorite team.

As the crowd goes wild at the Pepsi Center and the Colorado Avalanche go into a nail-biting overtime situation Erik Johnson ends up scoring with 1:49 left in the game making it a final score of 3-2.

Great way to end the evening and for some tired souls that will be waking up early after this amazing game will be heading to the home opener bright and early at Coors Field for the Colorado Rockies.

Sports in Colorado can make a fan feel like an adrenaline junkie at times, well at least for me that's how I feel.

The Av's will wrap up their regular season Saturday with San Jose in San Jose.
