Colorado Parks and Wildlife is ready for another great fishing season in the Centennial State with the release of the 2023-2024 Colorado fishing licenses. With so many great places to fish around Grand Junction, the time to get your license is now.

How Much Does a Colorado Fishing License Cost?
If you plan on only fishing one time a year, Colorado has a single-day fishing license. Colorado also offers a license good for the entire year, as well as a lifetime license. Regardless of which one you buy, you also need to pay for the purchase of the annual Habitat Stamp for $11.50.

How Can I Get a 2023 Fishing License from Colorado Parks and Wildlife?
You can order your license online, or over the phone by dialing 1-800-244-5613. You can purchase a license at a local Parks and Wildlife office. You can also use this link to search the Colorado Parks and Wildlife database for agents who are authorized to sell a license good anywhere in the state.
Can I Fish Without a License in Colorado?
There is one weekend per year when Colorado allows everyone to fish without a license. That weekend takes place the first full weekend in June each year. All Colorado fishing rules still apply during the free fishing weekend. In 2023, this weekend will be on June 3rd and 4th.
