Fort Collins first responders were part of a Christmas miracle saving the life of a cat stranded on an icy lake.

According to the Coloradoan, Poudre Fire Authority units responded to reports of a cat stranded on Cobb Lake east of Fort Collins. Somehow or another, the cat had a can stuck on its head. Firefighters managed to solve the "can on the head" problem. UCHealth crews were there to assist.

So, what became of the cat? The cat's family could not be located, so it has been taken to the Larimer Humane Society.
