Did you enjoy the snow this weekend? Some parts of Western Colorado are getting more snow today. Check out Grand Mesa as of 10:09 this morning, December 14, 2020.

Saturday, December 12, gave me a chance to enjoy a little bit of snow. Hopefully, you had a chance to get out and enjoy. There's nothing like a Colorado winter. Fortunately, we're getting some winter weather a full week before the official start of the season.

How about the Grand Mesa? Well, it didn't get hit too bad. The near future, though, promises to bring more. The town of Mesa can expect snow through at least Friday, December 18, with temperatures getting as low as 11 degrees Tuesday night.

The town of Collbran saw decent snowfall over the weekend.

The National Weather Service outlook for Collbran includes snow through Friday, with high temperatures peaking at 39 degrees on Thursday.

Even here in the valley, we're looking at a 50% chance of snow tonight (Monday) with more snow later in the week. It's not exactly swimming weather with low temps getting down as low as 11 degrees Tuesday night.

If you're a "snow person" it appears you are in luck this week. Here's hoping for a legitimate Colorado winter, and plenty of snowpack to get us through next summer.
