Shooter Jennings and company will make their way to Luckenbach, Texas, this Sunday to put a special Father's Day show in honor of his dad, Waylon Jennings. The show is set to raise awareness for the TGEN/ Waylon Diabetes Fund, supporting diabetes research.

The concert featuring Shooter Jennings, Paula Nelson, and Jesse Dayton, gets underway this Father's Day at 7:00 pm in Luckenback. For those not familiar with Luckenbach, the town made famous with Waylon's 1977 recording, it does in fact exist, and is located between South Grape Creek and Snail Creek, just south of U.S. Highway 290 on the South side Farm to Market Road 1376. Okay, it hardly even qualifies as a wide spot in the road, but even I found it, so I'm confident you can, too.
