So what is the Bustang?

The routes will start in July of this year and will travel along western I-70 and north and south I-25. The West route will initially run from Denver to Glenwood Springs and back, one time each way every weekday. The bus will not run on weekends. There will be stops in Eagle, Vail, Frisco, Lakewood and Denver. They are hoping to expand to Grand Junction in the future.

The project is being funded by the 2009 Faster Bill which gets it's funds from car registration fees to pay for transportation projects. For all of the time, costs and routes, visit the Bustang page on the Colorado Department Of Transportation webpage.

Here is the way you can ride in style, not wear out your car, and not break the bank doing it all. Be looking out for the big purple Bustangs on the highways this summer.
