Colorado Now on the List to Throw Romaine Lettuce Away

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention has updated their warning about a multi-state E.Coli outbreak that includes  Colorado.

The outbreak of E Coli now includes 19 states including Colorado.

The CDC has expanded their recommendation to throw away all romaine lettuce, including whole heads of romaine and hearts of romaine, and chopped romaine and salad mixes containing romaine lettuce from the Yuma, Arizona growing region.

Even if you eat in a restaurant ask where the Romaine lettuce came from, and if it came from Arizona don't eat it!

If you are not sure what type of lettuce it is or if you are not sure it came from Yuma, Arizona throw it out!

So far, there have been 19 states linked to the store bought romaine lettuce.
