The Cal-Wood Fire in Boulder County has become the largest in the history of Boulder County. The latest update brings the total burn area to 8,788 acres. The weather helped prevent any measurable growth o the fire on Sunday. Containment remains at 15 percent.

26 homes have been damaged in the fire, 22 have been declared a total loss according to the Boulder Office of Emergency Management. A joint investigation into the cause of the fire is currently underway by the Forest Service and Boulder County Sheriff's Office.
