The Denver Broncos will hold a free training camp session at Mile High.

Attending an NFL training camp is a lot of fun. The atmosphere and players are more laid back than game days. My rock station in Topeka, Kansas was a Kansas City Chiefs affiliate. As part of the radio broadcast network, those of us that worked there were welcomed to attend. On several occasions, I made the drive over to St. Joseph, Missouri from my home in Lawrence, Kansas.

If you're up for a road trip, the Denver Broncos will hold a free training camp session at Broncos Stadium at Mile High on Saturday, July 27th. The event is that afternoon from  2:15 to 4:15 PM. Even though the event is free you'll still need a ticket to attend. You can snag yours by clicking HERE. Don't want too long, these limited tickets became available yesterday, Thursday the 11th.

There will be special fun family activities as well. Those include...

  • Miles the Mascot’s Birthday Celebration – Free Miles visor to first 1,000 Kids (12 and under)
  • Kids Zone featuring inflatables and Jr. Training Camp Football Drills
  • Face painters
  • Performances by Denver Broncos Cheerleaders and Stampede Drumline
  • Thunderstorm in-stadium jump
  • Post-practice player autographs

If you can't make it to the special event at Mile High, there are 19 team practices that are free and open to fans. Those are held at the UCHealth Training Center beginning Thursday, July 18th.
