Boston, Mass (AP)-The body of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev has finally been buried, with police saying Thursday (May 9th) that an unnamed, quote, "courageous and compassionate" person stepped forward to help arrange a secret burial.

They didn't reveal the location of the grave site, saying only that it was not in Worcester, and the funeral home would not disclose the information either. There was a week long search to find a place willing to allow Tsarnaev's burial, during which the frustrated police chief in Worcester, where his remains had been stored at a funeral home amid protests, urged a resolution, saying public funds were being spent every day to provide protection for the funeral home and stating, "We are not barbarians. We bury the dead." The city of Cambridge, where Tsarnaev had lived, had refused his burial, as did Boston, other local communities and his native country of Russia, where his parents live.
