Body Found Near Horizon Drive Identified as Missing Grand Junction Man

The body of a man found near Horizon Drive in Grand Junction has been identified as a missing Grand Junction man.

According to the Mesa County Coroner, the identity of the man is 52-year-old Christopher Seep of Grand Junction. The coroner says the cause and manner of death are still pending, but it does not appear to be suspicious.

Seep was reported missing by his family on July 3. His body was discovered Sunday (Aug.9) in a culvert, just east of the Horizon Drive exit. The Grand Junction Police Department is continuing its investigation into Seep's death.
