Blagg murder case to leave Mesa County.

According to KKCO News, the retrial of murder suspect Michael Blagg will take place somewhere other than Mesa County.

Michael Blagg, 52 is currently being held in the Mesa County Jail. He is charged with first-degree murder after deliberation, theft and abuse of a corpse in one of this area's highest profile murder cases in history. Blagg's wife, Jennifer, was murdered in November 2001 and their 6-year-old daughter Abbey was never seen again.

In 2014 a second trial was ordered by Chief Judge David Bottger due to misconduct by a juror during the first trial in 2004.
