Beth Chapman’s Last Days Chronicled During ‘Dog’s Most Wanted’ Season Finale
The season finale of Dog's Most Wanted will show Beth Chapman's last days and the emotional response from fans after she died. The WGN show's social media pages asks viewers to come say farewell to the queen over clips of Wednesday night's (Nov. 6) episode.
Beth Chapman died in June at the age of 51 after a battle with cancer. Her death and the public memorials that followed have been high-profile events captured on camera for Season 1 of the new Duane "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman reality show. Those who've followed since the September premiere have watched as Beth Chapman's condition worsened, even as her spirit remained strong. Just last week she was speaking with optimism about her future during an episode taped just days before her death.
A two-part episode that showed Beth Chapman's final hunt came before this finale.
The future of Dog's Most Wanted isn't clear. Duane Chapman admitted he has to stop hunting fugitives for now due to a heart emergency and subsequent pulmonary embolism diagnosis. Blood thinners and a healthy diet are part of his treatment plan, but the 66-year-old doesn't seen keen on slowing down, telling People that he will go after criminals with just as much zest as he did when Beth was around, and not as much mercy.
Dog's Most Wanted is the Chapman's third reality series, following eight seasons of Dog the Bounty Hunter and three seasons of Dog and Beth: On the Hunt.
