Best Colorado High School Nicknames

This is the list of the Top Coolest Colorado High School nicknames.  At least this is what I think.

Colorado has its fair share of safe and what can be considered normal high school nicknames. But, then there are those schools, who, to me, really stand out in the name department.

My high school was the Comets. Not the most intimidating name. Wish we could have had a more menacing name. If I were to start up a high school here in Colorado today, here are a couple of ideas that would be awesome to use.

• Sasquatch — a mythical creature that’s frightening and menacing.

• The Trout — they may not seem dangerous, but they’re difficult to catch.

No offense to any of these schools. That is not what this is about. I just happened to stumble upon the Colorado State High School Football section of the website maxpreps.com and curiously scrolled down and some of the school nicknames literally jumped out at me. These are finalists.
