What is the maximum number of dogs you can walk at one time? The question is really one of the mechanics rather than law. If you were to try to walk multiple dogs at once, how many do you think you can handle? Check out these helpful tips.

Every morning in Grand Junction, a young woman can be seen walking several dogs, in today's case, seven, at Sherwood Park. That's impressive. Has she ever walked more?

Personally, seven dogs is six more than I'm capable of walking. People who have seen me on trails with my dog have noticed I can't handle even a singular canine. Our walks come complete with snide comments from passerby asking "Who is walking who?"

This lady at Sherwood Park is a true pro. The dogs all walk together, in an orderly fashion, and seem to be having a great time doing it.

Okay, walking multiple dogs at one time is cool, but, can it be done while also carrying a cup of coffee (a mandatory piece of equipment for many of us)?

Please keep in mind, Mesa County Animal Control is enforcing leash laws like crazy right now. Everybody I know has been busted in the last month for violating the leash laws, and in this neck of the woods, that's a $125 ticket.

People who don't even have dogs are getting busted. Okay, just kidding.

In any case, if you walk a dog, especially if you walk in a public park, make sure you are in compliance with leash laws.
