Is the New Selfie Trend Disguisting or Liberating?

Depending on how you look at it, there is either a disturbing or liberating selfie trend going on right now in China and it's making it's way to the United States.

Armpit hair. More specifically, armpit hair on women. But take it one step further and take a selfie of it and post it on Facebook or any other social media.

There is a competition going on right now in China that is encouraging women to submit pics of their unshaven armpit hair.

It's not just happening in China.

Over the past few years, some US celebrities have flirted with not shaving their armpit hair - most notably Madonna and Brittany Spears.

Men are encouraged not to shave their armpit hair as it is considered to be manly and shaving it would be feminine.

Is armpit hair on females a fetish, liberating or just plain gross?
