Anonymous Donor Saves the Day for Western Colorado Animal Shelter

The dogs and cats at Grand Junction's Roice-Hurst Humane Society will now have fresh laundry thanks to the donation of a new washing machine. The anonymous donor answered a post on Facebook expressing the shelter's need for a new machine.

Early Thursday afternoon, the Roice-Hurst Humane Society posted this message to their Facebook page:

The post was in response to an earlier post, sent out on Wedensday, requesting the donation of a washer. While this post did request a machine, it did not specify the need for a "new" washer.

The public is already chiming in with appreciation for the generous gift.

Thank you, whoever you are. With your donation, the dogs and cats at the Roice-Hurst will have fresh bedding, and whatever else it might be requiring washing, during their stay at the shelter.
