If you are one of the thousands of Coloradoans without a job, it may be time to give Amazon a call.

According to the Denver Post, the retail giant is looking to hire 100,000 people nationwide and more than 1,900 permanent employees in Colorado. The company already employs more than 10,000 people in the state.

Amazon has four fulfillment and sorting center in Colorado and a lot of these jobs involve picking, packing, and shipping orders. Some of the jobs include delivery centers, human resources, information technology, and safety teams.

If you're wondering how much the pay is, we're talking about $15 an hour plus your typical benefits like insurance and 401k. Some hires will qualify for a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

I know someone who works for Amazon, and I've been told it's not easy work. But, it's a job, and it would certainly help pay the bills for those who are willing to work. Unfortunately, it could mean packing up and moving to a new location - which actually could be kind of exciting.

Anyone interested in an Amazon job can apply online - and could be working in less than two weeks.
