This year, several community fireworks shows have been canceled because of the extremely dry conditions across the state. However, there are a number of communities, including Grand Junction that are moving forward with fireworks displays.

We have compiled a list of fireworks displays in western Colorado that are scheduled to happen, as well as some that have already been canceled. It's important to keep in mind this list is fluid and is subject to change as we draw closer to the Fourth of July.

Everybody loves a good fireworks display on the Fourth of July - except for maybe your dog. A number of fireworks displays have been scheduled for the July 4th weekend, and several of those have been canceled due to the extremely dry conditions in western Colorado. We have a list of some western Colorado communities that are going ahead with fireworks displays as well as some that have chosen to cancel them. Keep in mind, more cancellations could be coming in the days ahead depending on weather conditions and fire danger.
