Positive Messages In Grand Junction

Earlier today I made my routine visit to the St. Mary's Regional Blood Center to donate. There's a new feature at the blood center. It's possible these have been there for some time, but have gone unnoticed until now.

As you approach the entrance to the blood center, you'll see a number of small river rocks painted a variety of bright colors. Look closer and you'll notice each rock has an affirmation written on it.

What's an Affirmation?

Okay, that doesn't help. Perhaps this definition will be more useful.

• Emotional support or encouragement.

The second definition is what I'm referring to. These messages really will brighten your day.
