A Classic Car Merges With a Classic Music Manufacturer

Classic car enthusiasts and hippies rejoice! A legendary car maker has joined forces with a legendary music maker, and the result: the 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Fender Edition.

Fender, the company we can all thank for many of the modern instruments and audio systems we know and love, will enhance VW Bug drivers' musical experience with the Fender Premium Audio System, exclusive to the 2013 Volkswagen autos.

The Fender Premium Audio System is comprised of a total of nine speakers driven by 400 watts of power. The propaganda states the system creates "Fender's classic sound highlighted by uncomprimised clarity at low or high volumes, powerful bass response and detailed midrange tones that combine to recreate the raw emotion of a live performance."
