Here's a good way to test someone who says they are from Colorado.

Heck, you could even test yourself. See how many of these 50 Colorado facts you know. Me being from WI, I failed this miserably. I was actually quite shocked and amazed at most of these fun facts.

Although Grand Junction is not specifically mentioned for any these tidbits, The Grand Mesa and Fruita are.  The Mesa for the being the world's largest flat-top mountain and, of course, Fruita for the legend of 'Mike the Headless Chicken.'
