If you don't remember all of the gifts in the 12 Days of Christmas, don't worry, here's a refresher and the cost of all those gifts if you were to buy them this Christmas.

According to the PNC Christmas Price Index, you might have to spend most or all of the money you made this year to give your true love the amazing gifts in the 12 Days Christmas.

By item, just in case you can't afford all 12 and have to settle for less, here are the 12 gifts and the 2016 price of each. The price does not include sales tax or delivery charges.

  • One Partridge in a Pear Tree - $209.99
  • Two Turtle Doves - $375
  • Three French Hens - $181.50
  • Four Calling Birds - $599.96
  • Five Gold Rings $750

Just for fun, adding up the cost for all the gifts as they are presented in the song - you might want to sit down for this - the total would be $156,507.88.

To put it in perspective, if you limited spending to $2,000 a year, that much would last just over 78 Christmases. That's close to a lifetime of generous giving.
