[UPDATE @ 5:00 p.m on 6/11/2020] According to Elizabeth, Tori's mother, she has been found safe.

It's a parent's worst fear. To wake up one morning and not find your child in their bed. Unfortunately, this is the reality for Elizabeth Sutherland as her 16-year-old daughter Tori has gone missing.

The post on social media describes that her daughter went to bed like normal and seems to be missing. Tori's family spent all day yesterday looking for her with no luck and after getting in touch with Elizabeth the family has already contacted law enforcement to see what they can do to help.

The family has spent hours contacting all of Tori's friends and searching for any information online and through social media with no luck so far.

Tori was last seen at 31 and D road in Grand Junction.

The most unfortunate news was that at some point yesterday she did in fact respond to one of her friends on the social media platform Snapchat, and told her friend that she has no intention of going home. In the same video message, she wouldn't say where she is currently.

Which as you can expect just makes her mom worry even more about where she is and who she is with.

If you have any information on where Tori might be please contact her mother Elizabeth here, or reach out to the Grand Junction Police Department. Fingers crossed Tori is located soon and brought back home to her family where she belongs.

Please share this information with anyone in our area that might be able to help located Tori and bring her home.
