[Update 6/30 at 7:15 a.m. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation has deactivated the Amber Alert for Liam Sweezey as he has been found safe.

[Update 6/29 8:00 p.m. California Highway Patrol confirms a sighting of Liam and Nikki Sweezey in Burbank, California. Law enforcement are still looking for them and if you spot them you are being asked to call 911 immediately.

All cell phones across the state of Colorado went off on Saturday just after 3:00 p.m. as the details were just being released about a 12-year-old who was missing out of Aurora, Colorado. It was great to have such a widespread message getting out because, KDVR out of Denver is reporting that the 12-year-old Liam was missing with his mother Nikki, and her vehicle was last seen on Saturday in Grand Junction.

The vehicle was spotted around 2:30 p.m. just before the Amber Alert went out. To make this situation even more serious, Liam is requiring medication that he currently doesn't have access to.

The whole ordeal began on Friday night when Nikki Sweezey picked up Liam but never returned him home which was supposed to happen after spending time together.

If you see Nikki, Liam, or recognize her powder blue 2010 Honda Fit with the Colorado license plate BVV937, please call 911 immediately.
