Neal McCoy returns to Western Colorado to play for you at the 25th anniversary of Country Jam. While the entire lineup is great, catching Neal McCoy in concert is the single most important thing you'll ever do. Here's why.

After working the Country concert business for a few decades, I can honestly say, nobody does it like Neal McCoy. This man was born to entertain. I've seen him at rodeos, festivals, and small venues. This guy puts out the exact same energy at a 250 seat venue as he does at a 60,000 seat football stadium.

Not only is he coming to Country Jam, he's coming to Country Jam on a Friday. Right on! Neal McCoy will perform for you at 4:30 p.m. on June 17. It's going to be hot, and Neal is going to make it even hotter. Here are five reasons why you should make this show your #1 priority:

• Neal McCoy is an outstanding live entertainer. During an interview at Country Jam a few years back, legendary Country Music star Charlie Daniels said this during his Jumbotron interview: “Neal McCoy has perfected the art of live entertainment.”
• Nobody takes care of their fans like Neal McCoy. Sometimes we’re lucky if an entertainer will do ten meet-n’-greets with the fans. Neal McCoy will actually walk out in the festival grounds and meet and take photos with the crowd.
• Neal is very good to his band and employees. Many of his players have been with him for decades. Neal’s road manager, Les Martines, has been with him for well over 20 years. Speaking with Les a few years back before a show, I asked how he liked his gig working with Neal. His response, “There’s a reason why I’ve been doing this for 21 years.”
• Neal loves to work. By my count, Neal McCoy played The Rose in Grand Junction several times, and Country Jam on more than one occasion. He’s played the Moffat County Fair a time or two as well.
