Her name is Kaitlyn Baker. And she did a great job.

No too much pressure. 25,000 people in the crowd and the stage full of military personnel. But, the girl from Pound Virginia, handled it beautifully.

You may have missed her at Country Jam. She only played once and that was on Jack's Stage at 12:15 a.m. on Saturday. Well, actually that would be EARLY Sunday morning. But, she sure made her name known Friday night as she took the stage prior to Brad Paisley and knocked out a wonderful version of our National Anthem.

'Kaitlyn Baker’s music reflects the beauty of the Cumberland Mountains and ruggedness of the coal mining culture in which she was raised. Indeed, this 20-year-old singer/songwriter from Pound, Virginia, has been referred to as a new “coal miner’s daughter.” BuzzFeed called her “feisty” and named her one of 11 “badass alternatives to bro country.”
