Who Makes the Best Truck in North America? [POLL]
We always here country artist talking about trucks. There are so many songs about trucks its hard to name them all.
How about Greg Bates singing about getting the "Chevy all shined up" in his new song 'Did it for the Girl'.
Alan Jackson sings his #1 song 'Drive' about driving a truck for the first time.
We all know how big of a truck fan Joe Diffie is because of his tune 'Pick up Man'.
So they all have their own opinions about who has the best truck, but which one is right. In early December 49 automotive journalist voted on 10 trucks and SUV's that are made here in North America and settled on three finalist. Now a victor has been crowned and I doubt it's the truck you think. The North American Truck of the Year for 2013 is the Ram 1500.
The Ram 1500 beat out the Ford C-Max and the Mazda CX-5. The Ram 1500 is the first Full Size truck with an 8 Speed Transmission, helping out with not only fuel economy but also with driving comfort with its Pentastar V6 Engine.
Now I know you all don't think the Ram 1500 is the #1 truck in the country.
Want to know what other songs sing about trucks? There are too many to name here but I'll try: Toby Keith 'Big Ol' Truck', Trace Adkins 'Rough and Ready' and 'Chrome', Brad Paisley 'Mud on the Tires', Glen Cambell 'I love my Truck', Brooks and Dunn 'Hillbilly Deluxe', Luke Bryan 'We Rode in Trucks', Rascall Flats 'Life is a Highway', Rhett Atkins 'That Ain't my Truck' and last but not least Kip Moore 'Somethin' Bout a Truck'.
