Where Should I Get My Live Music Fix In Grand Junction?
It's Friday, I'm in Grand Junction and I have no idea where to go to hit the town! I started asking my co-workers and other locals “what is the “haps” here on a Friday night?” Here are three places I found that sound fun and are actually affordable.
The Ale House seems to be a social event each time I drive by there. I have thought many times; “that place looks cool, I’ll need to try it.” Tonight they have live music from 7 pm - 10 pm with Jack + Jill a husband, wife band. On a beautiful night like this, sitting on the patio listening to live music and eating some scrumptious food sounds quite inviting.
I looked at the menu here and it’s making me hungry looking at my choices. I like that they have a featured wine, that’s a nice touch for dinner. Starting at 8 pm they have live music with The Oxymorons. This group is sweet. They play your favorite 80’s songs and every now and then I’ve heard that they will bust out an Irish song or two. Fun!
I love the Mesa Theater and knowing that Tech N9ne will be playing here tonight for their Planet Tour I think I may have to land here this evening. Tech N9ne, Krizz Kaliko, Just Juice, Joey Cool, Slo Pain and King Iso. Tech N9ne is so good. I can be in a so-so mood and I hear a Tech N9ne song and I instantly want to dance. They totally fire me up!
