Where can you go to find great books, meet Western Colorado authors, and celebrate a national holiday? Downtown Grand Junction, that's where. This Saturday is "Indie Bookstore Day," and the valley offers several great local retailers.

This Saturday, April 30, Bibliophiles and local small-business supporters have reason to celebrate. Communities across the nation pay tribute to the little guy, the locally owned bookstore, with "Indie Bookstore Day."

Where can you go to celebrate? It just so happens Grand Junction is home to three locally owned bookstores. More good news, they're all on Main Street and are only a block away from one another.
