What’s Next For This Empty Lot In Grand Junction?

What does the future have in store for the Grand Junction lot?

This space is where this building stood for the longest time:

Located next to Auto Zone on North Avenue, this lot has recently been cleared. I have to admit, as much as I hated to see a somewhat historic building demolished, space now looks pretty good. They even took the tree!

The question is are there any plans for this area? With the fence up and surrounding makes me think that something is being worked on for this space.
