What is Your Favorite Mother’s Day Movie? [POLL]

Mother's Day is coming up this Sunday, May 10. Why not treat Mom to nice quiet evening at home this weekend with a great "Mom" movie? What is your favorite movie about mom?

What would most of the world's moms say is the #1 thing they want from their children? Most would probably say "more family time." Easy gift idea: a great movie for Mom.

There have been some doozies over the years: Steel Magnolias, The Blind Side, and Forrest Gump. Then again, there are some selections which aren't quite as obvious.

My personal selection, and it may seem a bit off base.... The Book Thief. Obviously, this film was never intended to have a theme revolving around moms or Mother's Day. In any case, the character of the adoptive mom, along with the tragedy of the birth mother, plus with matriarchal role of the wealthy book collector, makes for a strong lineage of role models for the central character.
