What Does Dustin Lynch’s New Song ‘She Cranks My Tractor’ Really Mean?
Dustin Lynch came out with a new song in November called ‘She Cranks My Tractor.’ I think it’s obvious he’s not really talking about her working on his tractor. The lyrics to his new song is making everyone a little… hot and heavy. Enough to make you feel a little awkward when you’re listening to it with your parents of kids.
It’s easy to tell that this song doubles with back to back lines of gratuitous innuendo. Dustin sings “She’s a wild rose waiting on me at the end of the road / Between the water tower and the power lines / We’re a cloud of dust once I get her buckled in my pickup truck.” What is he referring to when he says Between the water tower and the power lines. I know what a “Power line” is but what is the water tower? I’ll let you use your imagination on this one.
This is the one line in the song that sticks out the most to me “I go fast, she hollers faster / She’s the first one up the hayloft ladder / A girl like that’s what a country boy’s after / She cranks, she cranks, she cranks my tractor / She cranks, she cranks, she cranks my tractor.” You know that has nothing to do with going fast on a tractor.
You can point the finger at me and say I am Captain Obvious, but I think breaking the song down like this gives us a better idea of not only what Dustin Lynch is singing about but also what kind of country artist he is. If you haven’t seen the video it is just about as hot and sexy as the lyrics in the song.
