I can remember when I went to Seattle one year and was unfamiliar with the neighbor I was in and I just happened to be going five miles over the speed limit when I was recorded and photographed by a camera installed on a light pole. When I returned home about a week later I received a ticket in the mail. I did pay the ticket but thought that should be against the law.

A bill has been introduced into the Colorado General Assembly to ban red light cameras in the state.

The City of Pueblo has the cameras installed and Colorado Springs is set to bring the cameras back this year.

If the bill passes it would go into effect on August 2nd.
