How has Western Colorado survived this long without one of these? We need one NOW!

After years of listening to people tell me I need to try In-N-Out Burger, the opportunity finally presented itself. You know what? They were right! This joint is amazing.

I never could understand what the fuss was about. It seems sometimes that one burger joint is pretty much the same as the next. Au contraire.

Last Thursday, I finally had a chance to visit one of these restaurants. Not only do I want to go back to In-N-Out Burger, I want to get a job there. That is a well-oiled machine. This little burger joint just off of Dean Martin Drive in Las Vegas is the ultimate model of efficiency.

The burgers are great, the price is awesome, and each employee must hold a bachelor's degree in restaurant management. This is how it's done.

What will it take to get a store here in Western Colorado? According to a CBS interview, it is unlikely the chain will ever go public or offer franchise opportunities.

The only reason we would do that is for the money, and I wouldn't do that. My heart is totally connected to this company because of my family, and the fact that they are not here - I have a strong tie to keep this the way they would want it." - In-N-Out president Lynsi Snyder

Well, darn. So much for that. The chain can be found primarily in the western United States, with stores in California, Nevada, Oregon, and Texas. Fortunately, Colorado isn't too far away.

In the event you have any pull with the Snyder family, let them know we are starving here in Grand Junction. We need an In-N-Out burger shop immediately.
