Western Colorado Horses of Yesteryear – Robert Grant Photos

All of this rodeo action got me thinking about horses. Don't ask me why, I'm not really a horse rider at all. In any case, my grandpa took a lot of photos of a whole bunch of horses over the years, and I thought it would be fun to share.

Some of the horses and their riders are identifiable, others, unfortunately, are not. Bob Grant had a talent for NOT writing things down on his photos.

Take a look through this small collection of photos. The landscapes are immediately identifiable, and in some cases, so are the trainers. Oh, and for the record, I'm  aware some of these aren't necessarily "horses." Some are ponies, and there's even a mule or two.
