A western Colorado musical artist recently got the surprise of a lifetime when the legendary Stevie Wonder unexpectedly joined him on stage to sing "Superstition."

Grayson Erhard, an instrumentalist/vocalist from Del Norte, Colorado was recently performing in a hotel lobby in Anaheim, California as part of the National Association of Music Merchants 2017 convention.

Erhard had just finished playing Wonder's #1 hit "Superstition" when the rock and roll hall of famer made his way on stage and proceeded to sing the song with Erhard. Grayson had already admitted he didn't know the lyrics to the second and third verses, so Stevie graciously whispered the lyrics and Grayson delivered flawlessly.

What a cool moment for an aspiring artist -- and for the crowd that was treated to an impromptu performance by one of the all-time greats.

By the way, Grayson Erhard will be appearing at the Mesa Theater in downtown Grand Junction on March 11.
