Waylon Chats with Country Legend Charlie Daniels [LISTEN]

Country legend Charlie Daniels has been cranking out hits for over 40 years. According to Daniels, though, his first love is performing live in front of audiences. Charlie Daniels is coming to Grand Junction, and he took a few moments to call Waylon and share some info as to what's in store.

The Charlie Daniels Band makes their way to the historic Avalon Theatre on Thursday, April 14. While Daniels is currently working on new material, he stated for the record audiences will be hearing his hits, including The Devil Went Down to Georgia, The Legend of Wooley Swamp, Long Haired Country Boy, and such.

The band is on tour, and will be staying busy clear through the end of the year. At the time of this conversation, Daniels was in Battle Creek, Michigan for a live show. In between concerts, the band is in the studio recording an album of Cowboy songs.
