What is the one thing that can make a waterfall go backward?

Quite simply, the wind. Like high winds. Like 180 mile and hour winds.

This waterfall is in the Derbyshire Peak District (somewhere in England) and shows the Kinder Downfall waterfall trying to do what comes naturally to waterfalls - fall.

But mother nature has other plans as the high winds literally blow the water back up the 98-foot fall. The high winds are a result of Hurricane Gonzalo.
