UPDATE On Two Bodies Found In A Clifton Home

Mesa County Sheriff's Office has now released more information on the two bodies found in a Clifton home last Thursday evening.

The Mesa County coroner has identified both victims.

24-year-old Aaron Marble and 23-year-old Alyssabeth Sawyer. They were both from Clifton. The coroner has also issued the manner of which both died. Sawyer died of a gunshot to the chest. Marble had a gunshot to his head. It has been declared a homicide/suicide situation.

This started as a requested welfare check by an out-of-state family member. When Mesa County Sheriff's Deputies arrived, they discovered two deceased bodies. One male, one female and both in their 20's.
