Two Grand Junction Restaurants Offer Free Lunch on Christmas Day
In an effort to make sure 'No One Goes Hungry' this Christmas, two restaurants are opening for lunch on Christmas to feed people who need a hot meal, but lack money to pay or don't want to eat alone.
The 'No One Goes Hungry' event is at the Wienerschnitzel First Street and Grand Avenue and 30 and D Road locations.
Between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., the two restaurants will be serving two hot dogs, french fries, drink and a Tastee Freez ice cream cone to anyone regardless of their ability to pay.
The owners, managers, and staff were looking for a way to give back to the community that has supported them. It's also a wonderful way for these hard working folks, in the spirit of Christmas, to help those in need.
