Every kid dreams of living in a treehouse. Now you can live that dream with a stay in a treehouse in Carbondale, Colorado.

Perched 25 feet above the ground, resting on four 100-feet spruce trees you'll find the Rocky Mountain Treehouse. Handbuilt in 1971 the "world famous" treehouse sits on two beautiful acres overlooking a flowing creek. Don't worry about a rickety ladder or rotted-out piece of rope, take the stone stairs that lead to the front door.

The two-story treehouse boasts 550 square feet of living space. The main floor hosts the kitchen, bathroom (with stone-lined shower) and a large wrap-around deck. The upstairs loft features a sleeping area with large skylights and a private balcony. Perfect for a weekend hideaway if you're thinking of heading to Glenwood Springs or Aspen.

Really, it's not that expensive. At $160 a night for two people, or add $20 extra dollars a night and make it a group gathering -- the treehouse sleeps up to six. Plus, you can bring your four-legged friend with you -- $20 a night.

It's totally up to you if you want to hang a "No Girls Allowed" sign, or "No Boys Allow," whichever.
