When the former Denver Bronco caught wind that an old teammate was injured in the Orlando shooting, Tim Tebow paid him a special visit.

Tebow left his family vacation in the Bahamas to visit his old high school teammate.

Rodney Sumter Jr. played football with Tebow at Nease High School in Ponte Vedra, FL as a wide receiver. Sumter is in recovery after being shot three times at the Orlando Pulse nightclub, where he worked as a bartender.

"My high school quarterback left the Bahamas to come and see me. Tebow has always been an awesome person," Sumter wrote on Instagram.
