Fans can learn plenty about Tim McGraw from his Wikipedia page, including his family history, details about the many albums he's released and movies he has starred in and his political views. But while the page has plenty of factual information, it's not entirely accurate, as McGraw explains to Taste of Country.

So how did one of country music's biggest hitmakers really get his first record deal? The Wikipedia version of the story -- that the deal came about through his famous father, baseball player Tug McGraw -- is only "sort of" accurate, McGraw says.
