If you've driven Red Mountain Pass, you know that it can be an adventure even on a good day. Most of us try to avoid that route when the winter gets near. Ever wonder what driving the pass would be like in a snow storm? Wonder no more.

YouTuber takemytripdotcom has done the driving for you. Here's how they described the drive.

This drive is a round-trip, beginning and ending in Ouray, Colorado. It follows US Highway 550, the Million Dollar Highway, south, over Red Mountain Pass to Silverton, then returns via the same route.

At first I was disappointed that it was raining in Ouray and Silverton, but the weather was actually quite amazing. Clouds hung low over the mountain peaks, creating a foreboding mood amongst the fall colors in early October. At the pass, above 11,000 feet, it was pouring the snow, creating a beautiful scene.

You'll have to put up with my wiper blades, but I hope you can enjoy the beauty of this drive, on a not-so-perfect day.

Better you than me, dude. But, thanks for letting us ride along. We agree it's beautiful up there.
