Homeward Bound of the Grand Valley is running low on several needed items. As you can see in the photo above, they're down to their last few boxes of cereal. Keep in mind, the shelter serves up to 190 people at any given time. What can you do to help?

Homeward Bound at 2853 North Avenue in Grand Junction is a non-profit organization providing critical housing for families and individuals.

From time to time, they reach out to the community for needed items. Recently, the shelter was out of coffee and asked the public to donate.

Currently, they are running low on certain food items. How do you donate?

The best times to drop off donations are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donations can be dropped off right at the door. Someone on the site will be happy to assist you.
