There’s Nothing More Rewarding Than Finding Treasure in Your Yard

About four years ago a  walking their dog on their property came across a tin can sticking up out to the ground turned out to be one of the biggest treasure finds in US history. In the tin can was over ten million dollars in gold coins! The couple remains anonymous.

Then over the weekend a couple planting a tree in their backyard discovered a treasure worth about 52,000 dollars. That one it seemed was not as glamorous because it belonged to a neighbor whose house had been broken into in 2011.

When I was 10, I was playing and digging in my backyard in Washington state and found a tobacco a can filled with silver coins. Turned out it belonged to my dad. I did not get a penny.
